IBEX

This is a site of the band once known as IBEX. Unfortunally IBEX members Amir Lowe and Jesse Bruch decided to part ways in February to form a new band with Adam Cutrone and former replacement drummer Jon Diforie. Since the departure of Jesse and Amir, James McNamara didn't want to lose something that ment so precious to him. He recruted Diforie for perminent drummer and Joe Knechtel's brother James Knechtel to join as the new lead guitarist. Although since Diforie and Cutorne were more occupied with Jesse and Amir's new band + playing covers with the Knechtel's and Diforie at IBEX practices, McNamara knew that it wasnt the same without them. McNamara had high hopes with the new members but then the unbelieveable came to be believeabe. McNamara knew that he was the only one that cared about keeping the music of IBEX alive. Unfortunally the replacements + Cutrone and Joe didn't feel the same way as McNamara did. Joe Knechtel came up with the idea to change the band name to "SIN". McNamara's input on it was never announced. Even since then Diforie and Cutrone have been jamming with the Knechtels to form a band known as "SIN" & also with Jesse and Amir's band "A Lesser Concern". As for McNamara...well...who cares? obviosuly no one he has worked with. This is just a reminder of what IBEX used to be at this time. The band might be done, but the good and bad remarks about them and the memories will last forever.
